How do I password protect my Ventrilo server? |

Adding a password to your Ventrilo server:
Using the information
provided in your welcome letter, this change can be made in vPanel
1) Login to vPanel here: http://ventrilo.shrapnet.com
2) Click on the Update Server Info menu option.
3) Click the Auth pull-down and choose Global Password Authentication
4) Enter the desired connection password in the Password field.
5) Click on the Update button (note: Your server will be restarted).
To utilize the new password, you must modify your server entry in your Ventrilo client.
1) Click on the arrow next to the Server drop-down on your Ventrilo client.
2) Enter the password you used above in the Password field.
3) Click on Ok to return to the connection dialog.
