What can I do to prevent my Teamspeak from being hacked?

There are a few steps you can take to prevent Teamspeak takeovers:

1) Use hard to guess passwords with numbers, upper/lower case letters and symbols that are at least 6 characters long. Using "cat" as a password is an example of a BAD password. "f4V!jndl*H" is an example of a GOOD password. (Of course don't use this one since it's been posted here.)

2) NEVER right click on someone's name and press "e". This will give them SA status which will allow them to takeover your Teamspeak.

3) If someone joins your server and has SA that shouldn't, check their name first before attempting to remove SA. If they have a (U) at the end of their name then they DO NOT actually have Server Admin priviledges. They have changed their name to look like they have SA so that when you try to remove SA from them it will actually give SA priviledges to them!!!

Example: Doesn't have SA
"Mike M (R SA)(U)" -- Notice the (U)
Example: Has SA
"Mike M (R SA)" -- Notice there is no (U)

4) Send all your Server Admins here to read this!
